We recognize that what we grow, and the way we grow it, makes a difference to our community and our planet. That’s why we have embraced sustainable practices from day one.
Good intentions alone are not enough. That’s why we have continued to evolve through the years, becoming the first organically-certified greenhouse in 2005, developing unique drainage and irrigation systems, and enriching our soil with the stems and leaves of each generation of plants that we grow.

2006South Alder Greenhouses is renamed Origin Organic Farms as it begins growing 100% organically on 20 acres. -
2007
2007OriginO brand is launched, creating a stronger awareness of BC-grown organic tomatoes and cucumbers that boast high nutrition and superb quality. -

2011OriginO redefined its technology from a solid base to a liquid base, and aligned its infrastructure to the needs of the market. -

2016Recognizing the importance of culture in the community, the OriginO brand became a sponsor of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Kids Concerts. -

Our Produce
Tomatoes-on-the-vine
Our signature beautifully-ripened and bursting with rich, juicy flavor, vine-ripened tomatoes are exceptionally high in lycopene and an unrivaled source of vitamins (A & C), potassium and iron.
Bell peppers
Sweet, crisp, healthy and versatile, bell peppers are a perfect snack when freshly sliced. Their color can brighten up a salad and they are absolutely mouthwatering when roasted.
Long English cucumbers
Cool and refreshing, these delectable vegetables offer the perfect balance of crispness and juicy satisfaction. Cut in rounds or spears, their neutral flavor makes them ideal for dipping.
